Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Olivia Faith Burnham was born into heaven
on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 9:45 pm.
Her parents are happy to know that
she is safe in the arms of Jesus
alongside her big brother, Max.

We love you, Max and Olivia. Mommy and daddy will be up there in just the blink of an eye, okay?

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the LORD.”
-Job 1:21

I am so, so, so sorry for your loss. If you ever need a sounding board, please let me know. I know we don't know one another IRL... but I've grown to love and feel like I know you, and I'm mourning your loss deeply. I pray for you and your husband, and will continue to do so this evening.

Love you girl, keep in Christ.

Sweetheart, I am so sorry. Dave and I will be praying for you and Jonathan. I know how hard this is - moreso for you, I think - but I know that God can and will give you the strength to get through this.

If you need to talk, give me a call - you can get my number from my Facebook.

Abbie - I have been following your blog since little Max... and I had a m/c at the same time as you, last December. I was so thrilled for you to have #2... and now, so deeply sad for you that you must brave these treacherous waters again. It is not fair... somehow, you will get through. Just know that we are ALL praying for you and sending hugs. Keep breathing in and out... time will pass. I am so sorry for your losses. Angela

Abbie I am so so sorry for your loss. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have a friend who had 3 miscarriages before she went on to have 2 healthy children. When she got pregnant the 4th time her doctor had her start taking medication from the time she found out until I think the end of her first trimester. She did that for both kids and went on to have uneventful pregnancies and 2 healthy babies. Maybe you can talk to your doctor about it.

Dear Abbie,

I am aching and praying with you. If you need a friend physically present with you, I can be there in an hour (I have a day off to use up from working at Commencement, so it's no problem for me to leave the office to be with you).

Love,
Amy

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet little Olivia Faith.
Praying for peace and comfort for you.
I had two back to back losses last year 9 months apart. The hurt never really goes away, but it gets better with time.

God bless

Abbie, I'm sorry. There really are no words for situations like this. Please know that you're not alone. While no one has been through what you have exactly, there are thousands of women who have suffered the loss of more than one of their babies. I remember after learning about my second, I immediately began to think that we would never have children, that there must be something so wrong with us that our babies would always die. But that wasn't the case; you know that and have seen my twins.

Take the time you need right now, and don't be afraid to push for testing. The more you know, the better. Sometimes just ruling a bunch of things out will give you some peace for when you'd like to think about ttc again.
