A really quick update: we got 20% off of our future treatments that are not covered by insurance (so IVF and IUI). Praise God!!!

Just stumbled upon your blog after doing a google search for miscarriage and using miso.

Your honesty is so refreshing to read, and your humor through the horrors you have experienced is humbling.

We have a 5 year old daughter (she was conceived after 3 years of trying), and a 7 month adopted baby girl (who joined our family after 2 years of waiting, and the sorrow of two failed adoptions along the way).

4 weeks ago we were surprised and overjoyed with an unplanned pregnancy. I had spotting from the start, but an U/S showed heartbeat and uterine implanting at 7 weeks (but did measure a week behind my dates). Last Monday (9 weeks) we had a second U/S after additional spotting, and our baby had died. We are moving in less than 2 weeks, and so I decided to take the misoprostol to help things go more quickly. I believe it worked, but will have tests Mon to make sure. I have not yet passed anything that resembled a sac or baby. That worries me quite a bit, and is what has led me to the internet research...

I just wanted to say thank you for your blog. I commend you for telling your story so openly. That cannot be easy, but know that you have touched many people's lives through your words, including mine.

You and your husband will be in my prayers. The Lord is good all the time. May He give you the desired of your heart.
