Starting solids...

Okay, so I know I just posted their 4 month update, but that was a month behind! I'm working on their 5 month one now... They just turned 5 months on Sunday!

Since we are only a few short weeks away from 6 months old, we're looking forward to starting solids in a few weeks. In anticipation of that, what are the must-have items for starting solids? I'm planning to make my own baby food, so recipe books, puree-ers, bibs, spoons, storage materials, etc... We need it all!

Thanks, all!

hi!! i totally found your blog from Meg at Perfectly Imperfect! When my son, C, was about 7 months old, I went and wrote a whole post about this! Wholesomebabyfood.com is my FAVE resource. So easy and so awesome. I also wrote all about delicious recipes and the things I use to puree/stash/store!

http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/ recipes and nutrition info :) Do you have a food processor? I just used that for G. I've heard of ppl just using a blender, but I didnt have much luck w/ getting it ALL pureed that way (perhaps my blender stinks?). I froze in ice cube trays, and put them in gallon size ziplocks in the freezer. :)
